Editorial policy

Our editorial standard is simple: make useful claims, show readers what kind of claim they are reading, and correct the record when it is wrong.

Accuracy and sourcing

We seek reliable primary sources wherever practical. When a claim depends on a source with a material interest in the outcome, we identify that context and look for independent confirmation.

We do not publish invented quotes, unverified market claims, or AI-generated reporting presented as original fact-finding.

Analysis, opinion, and financial risk

Analysis and opinion are clearly labelled and may include reasoned interpretations of public information. They are not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Crypto assets are volatile and readers should make decisions only after their own research.

Conflicts and sponsorship

Writers and editors disclose relevant holdings, commercial relationships, or other conflicts where they could reasonably affect a story. Paid or sponsored content is labelled prominently and does not receive the appearance of independent reporting.

Corrections

When we make a material factual error, we correct it promptly and add a note that explains what changed. See our corrections policy for how to report an issue.
